About me

Hi, my name is Michael Terrefortes and I'm a computer science student. I'm from Puerto Rico and study at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. I was admitted in 2018 and now I'm in my fifth year of college.

The programming languages and technologies that I'm most proficient in are C++ and Python. Some other languages or technologies that I know intermediate are Swift, HTML, CSS.

This section is my portfolio of projects.

ACO Application

Application developed in a group during my Software Engineering class in the Fall 2022 semester. The client of this app was El Puente climate organization in Puerto Rico. The app allows users to report climate law violations on the island. These violations are saved in a database and sent to the proper authorities. The users can create an account, make law violations, see local laws, and environmental analysis tools, and see a list of uploaded violations in the database. I was employed during the Spring 2023 semester and finished the application by adding new features and deploy the API to AWS. Programming & Development / Dec 2022
